Global Education, Assistant Director for Global Education

Colby’s portfolio includes initiatives to advise, support, and engage underrepresented students in international experiences. Colby facilitates independent international experiences such as internships, research, student-teaching, and other professional opportunities for students abroad.   Colby holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration degree from Texas A&M with a professional focus on international education, education abroad, and global citizenship. Colby has been in the field international education for over ten years, and has previously served as International Program Coordinator at Texas A&M University at Qatar, Academic Program Coordinator at the University of Texas (UT) at Austin, Assistant Director of the Arabic Flagship Program at UT Austin, and most recently served as Director of the International Exchange Office at the American University of Sharjah.
