Education Abroad 101 Sessions

All students are asked to attend an Education Abroad 101 session as a first step, before attending an Advising Appointment. Education Abroad 101 is a general information session that answers the most frequently asked questions and showcases the many types of UGA study abroad program types and options. Live, remote StudyAway 101 sessions are offered weekly throughout the semester, plus a pre-recorded option is available.

Education Abroad 101 Sessions - Two sessions/week led by UGA Global Education Junior (Peer) Advisors

Mondays (beginning Monday, January 8, 2023) - Virtual Session, 5:00 - 5:30 pm

Thursdays - In-Person (beginning Thursday, January 11, 2023) - MLC 251, 5:00 - 5:30 pm

Global Education Advisors and Appointments

Schedule an Advising Appointment with a Global Education Advisor, either to meet in-person in the Global Engagement Building or via zoom.

To meet with staff of the UGA International Centers (UGA in Cortona and UGA at Oxford), please proceed with scheduling an appointment online. Walk-in hours are also available.

If you wish to make an appointment with a global education advisor to speak about any other study away matter, you must first attend a StudyAway 101 session. Attending a session is required before making an appointment with a Global Education Advisor. Once you attend a Education Abroad 101 session, you may schedule an advising appointment online.

Global Education Advising on North Campus

A satellite study abroad advising office is now located in Brooks Hall, Room 121, within the Graduate School offices.
Drop in advising is possible for short 15 minute unscheduled appointments, or pre-schedule an appointment.
