UGA Foundation Incentive Scholarship for Study Abroad: UGA at Oxford For students participating in the UGA at Oxford program An applicant must be a non-transient, degree-seeking major at the University of Georgia and completed at least one semester as an undergraduate or graduate student at UGA prior to taking part in a study abroad program.
An applicant must be in good standing at the time of submission of this application as well as during any semester s/he is to receive scholarship funds. Preference will be given to applicants with a 2.5 cumulative grade point average or higher.
An applicant must be enrolled for at least 10 credit hours during the semester of application, and an applicant is expected to take an appropriate full-course load (3 hours for a Fall/Spring break; 6-9 hours for summer; 12-15 hours for fall and spring) during the study abroad experience.
An applicant must have a COMPLETED PROGRAM APPLICATION for an UGA at Oxford study abroad program in the StudyAway Portal.

Asia-Georgia Internship Connection (Freeman Asia Grant) The UGA Office of Global Engagement was awarded $200,000 from the Freeman Foundation to provide grants for professional experience in Southeast Asia. The objective of this grant is to fund international internships where the students will receive academic credit for the internship. Currently enrolled UGA undergraduate or graduate students are eligible. Internships/Volunteer opportunities MUST last for a minimum of 4 weeks and MUST earn academic credit for the internship. There is no maximum limit on internship/volunteer duration. Internships/volunteer program MUST be conducted in Southeast Asia. You MUST be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
